Unique bionutrisorbant for improving performance in Birds

 

The broiler feed is highly concentrated with high-density nutrients.  Absorption of the majority of these concentrated nutrients is of great economic importance.  Hence it necessitates incorporating certain feed additives that aid in absorption of these concentrated nutrients. Fat is a concentrated source of energy. Fat is an essential component that aids in absorption of important vitamins like A; D3; E and K. The major problem in fat absorption is the processing of water insoluble material in a water medium in the intestine.

 

 

We at VICTUS LABS have developed a unique product called LECION-V, a specially formulated bionutrisorbant to improve the nutrient absorption from the gut. The digestive system of young chickens is incapable of optimally digesting fat. This is often compounded by the fact that the fat quality commonly used in poultry feeds does not match the chickens' nutritional requirements. Feed fat available in the feed enters the gastro-intestinal tract as rather big coagulated particles. For efficient utilization of fat and to absorb nutrients at an enhanced rate LECION-V is required.

 

The main mode of action of LECION-V on fat digestibility is related to micelle formation, which takes place in the aqueous phase. The bionutrisorbant is capable of lowering the surface tension between the lipid and the aqueous phase.LECION-V abolishes hydrophobic interactions between nutrients, which result in the increased dispersability and solubility of these nutrients. Uniform weight gain is an important criterion in layer birds.  The birds should reach a minimum of 1200 -1300 gm at the end of 21st week or at the onset of lay.  Any change in the above parameter will badly affect egg production. LECION – V helps the birds to attain uniform bodyweight at the onset of lay.
